Roxie Riley, 80, Richmond, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. A graduate of Pittsburg State University, she taught school for more than 20 years and also helped on the farm. She volunteered at Richmond Health Care and Golden Heights Living Center in Garnett, helping residents with ceramics. Her husband, James Wayne Riley, died in 1976. Survivors include two sons, Eldon Riley of Garnett and Jim Riley of Richmond. Services were Tuesday at the Richmond Community United Methodist Church followed by burial in the Richmond Cemetery. Memorials are to Richmond Health Care in care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, P.O. Box 408, Garnett, KS 66032.
