Thousands of young Christians came to Linn County in the spring. The Christian Youth Festival north of La Cygne drew more than 4,000 people from around the country. The massive Christian Paradise ’08 was held May 25 along the Miami-Linn county line, near County Road 2400 just east of U.S. Highway 69. ![]() Thousands of youth and adults from all over the country flocked to the event, which organizers had envisioned as a day of worship in the center of the country without distractions.
