Behind first-place finishes from Alex Weatherbie (50-yard freestyle), Gus Hart (100-yard butterfly), 200-yard freestyle relay (Jared Auten, Stetson Jackson, Daniel Dorsett and Eli Waddle) and Jackson (100-yard breaststroke), the Osawatomie-Paola boys' swim team placed fourth at its home meet Thursday. The team garnered 382 points. St. Thomas Aquinas, with 479 points, won the team title.


Striking for silver for Osawatomie-Paola were the 200-yard medley relay (Dorsett, Jackson, Auten and Waddle), Auten in the 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard freestyle relay of Hart, Weatherbie, Kyle Dietrich, James Teuscher. Hart, Weatherbie, Dietrich and Auten placed second in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
