| Hamptons celebrate 25 years |

Charles M. “Chuck” Hampton Sr. and Virginia L. Sharp Hampton of rural Parker were married in their home June 2, 1984. They will celebrate 25 years of marriage at 2 p.m. Sunday at Parker Senior Center. They request no gifts. Mr. Hampton worked for Heart of America Bolt and Nut in Lenexa until retiring in 2006. He can often be found at a nearby lake with fishing pole in hand, working in the yard and garden or doing home remodeling and repairs from his “honey-do” list. Mrs. Hampton was a hairdresser in Osawatomie for nearly 20 years. She worked for Ditch Witch in Olathe for three years and has been employed by the Paola school district for the past six years. Their children include Charles Jr. and Deborah Hampton of Ottawa; Ron and Kelly Hampton Callahan of Osawatomie; Ron and Melissa Stoughton Hampton of Springfield, Mo., and Bruce and Rochelle Kester Baker of Linn Valley. Grandchildren include Emily, Madelaine, Russell and Cameron Hampton, Tommy and Sean Callahan, Chase and Easton Hampton and Brandon and Brett Baker. Chuck’s parents are Charles Haverfield of Parker and the late Rolla Hampton and Helen Hampton Haverfield. Virginia’s parents are Mary Sharp of Parker and the late Eddie Sharp.
