Car Show Set July 18 in Paola PDF Print E-mail

Paola’s Park Square will be filled with glistening chrome from different eras next Saturday during Paola Heartland’s 7th annual Cruise the Square Car Show.

The event is set to take place from 4 to 10 p.m. July 18. It will feature cars, food, family games and live music. Many downtown businesses also plan to stay open late to accommodate the attendees.
There will be awards given out to the top picks of categories such as: Chevy Muscle, Ford Muscle, Marvelous Mopar, Cool Coupe,
Cool Camero, Hot Hauler, Mighty Mustang, 4-Wheel, Sweetest Rat Rod, Sexy Sedan, Best Deuce, Cool Custom, Memory Lane, Club Participation, Best Paint, Under 25, Henery’s Picks, Mayor’s Choice, Best Engine, The Heartland, Kid’s Choice, Chamber’s Choice, Ladies Choice and others.

Members of the National Street Rod Association also will be on hand at the event to safety inspect vehicles.

Registration costs $15, and forms are available on the Paola Chamber of Commerce’s Web site, www.paolachamber.org.
