Jenny Lucille McDougal and Craig William Tennis exchanged wedding vows at Hillsdale Presbyterian Church on June 20, 2009.

The Rev. Kirk Johnston conducted the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Woody and Mary McDougal of Osawatomie.

Her husband is the son of Jim and Sherry Willingham of La Cygne and Jack and Molly Tennis of Linn Valley.

The color theme of the wedding was orange and fuschia, which was carried out with the use of gerbera daisies.

Joy Epperson was the soloist. Songs were “To Make You Feel My Love” by Garth Brooks and “When You Say Nothing At All” by Allison Kraus.

Haley McDougal and Dejha Smith were candlelighters.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white A-line dress with sequins at the top, a taffeta skirt and corset back.

The matron of honor was Cindy Ballou. She wore a long orange satin dress with a sheer halter top and tailored sheer fabric on the back of the dress.
Bridesmaids were Allison Juneau, Kelly Crozier and Haley McDougal.

Kylie Tennis was the flower girl, and Braydon McDougal was the ring bearer.

Aaron Rhynerson was the best man. Groomsmen were Tim McIntire and Brian Tennis and ushers were Adam McDougal and John Seuferling.
A reception was held at the Paola Country Club.

Mrs. Tennis is a 1999 graduate of Penn Valley Community College. She is employed at Life Care Center in Osawatomie and Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa.

Mr. Tennis is a 2007 graduate of Ottawa University and works for Examinetics in Overland Park.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is at home in Osawatomie.
