Lindy Michele Wilson, daughter of Richard and Debra Wilson, and Steven Brent Craig, son of Jean and the late Wes Plaisted, all of Osawatomie, were married July 12, 2009, at the Old Stone Church in Osawatomie.

Jean Plaisted conducted the double-ring ceremony.

The wedding decorations included white and shades of yellow along with daisies, sweetheart roses, butterflies, greenery and candles. An archway decorated with twinkling lights served as the focal point of the chapel. A memorial table with candles, a poem and an angel was placed at the entrance of the church.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white princess-style full-skirted ball gown with a halter-style bodice of pearls, sequins and embellished lace. The cathedral-length three-layer veil was scattered with tiny rhinestones.

Daisies, sweetheart roses and pearl hearts made up the cascading bouquet.
Jayme Wilson was the ring attendant, and Samantha Powell was the gown attendant. Cindy Lombard was the guest book and gift attendant.
A reception was held at The Gathering Place. Jan McDill and Lacey McMullen hosted the reception.

An extended wedding trip is being planned for fall.

Mrs. Craig attended Osawatomie schools, and her husband attended South East schools in Springfield, Ill.

Honorary guests of the event were Robert and Dorothy Barker of Life Care Center in Osawatomie, grandparents of the bride.
