Roger and Joyce Rosson announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Dawn Rosson, all of Edna, Kan., to Dr. Andrew Scott Cook of Osawatomie.
Mandy is the granddaughter of Charles Vitt of Williamsburg and the late Anna Mies and Vernon and Lucille Rosson.

Andy is the son of Robert and Marilyn Cook of Osawatomie and the grandson of Conrad and Ann Hermreck of Richmond and the late Kenneth and Glena Cook.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Labette County High School in Altamont and a 2005 graduate of Labette Community College in Parsons where she completed the radiography program. She is currently employed as a registered x-ray technician at Johnson County Orthopedics in Olathe.

The future groom is a 1998 graduate of Osawatomie High School and a 2006 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City where he completed his doctorate of chiropractics. He is self-employed at Cook Chiropractic in Osawatomie and La Cygne.

The couple is planning an Oct. 17 wedding in Coffeyville, Kan.
