Charles Fredrick “Chuck” Courtois, 91, Pleasanton, died Dec. 13, 2009. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church, Pleasanton. Oscar Holway III, 80, Blue Mound, Kan., died Dec. 11, 2009, at Prescott Country View Nursing Home, Prescott, Kan. Survivors include his, wife Ida of Blue Mound; a daughter, Stephanie Gunther of Rich Hill, Mo.; and seven grandchildren. In keeping with Oscar’s wishes, he was cremated and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.coffelschneider.com.
