Dorene C. Gering, 90, Ottawa, died Aug. 28, 2010, in Ottawa. A former resident of Kingman, she was a high school teacher in Kansas public schools. Survivors include a son, three daughters, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. today at the Livingston Funeral Home in Kingman, (620) 532-3322. Bode James Wolfe, 3 1/2-month-old miracle son, died Aug. 26, 2010, in Paola. He was born May 11, 2010, in Overland Park, the son of Matthew and Gretchen Usher Wolfe. Survivors include his parents of Osawatomie; grandparents, Jim and Joan Usher and Sharon Wolfe, and uncle, Preston Usher, all of Salina; and two aunts, Charity Glass and Julie Wolfe, both of Martinsville, Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Salina, followed by burial in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
