Big or small, young or old – Salzburg has a cozy city garden party together
City have been buoyed by the overwhelming success of their third season opener at the idyllic Volksgarten. Under bright blue skies and balmy temperatures, 4,000 visitors enjoyed various performances and social gatherings throughout Saturday. Organized by the city of Salzburg in collaboration with local artists and community organizations, the third Volksgarten festival offered a wide variety of activities, from live music and cultural performances to culinary delights.
Volksgarten – Festival in the hands of children
A “Kids Party” from 11am marked the start of this year's Spielmobil season. The “Children's friends“, die”Salzburg Children's World“And the Club”spectrumpresented the program “Play Bus” and “Play Bike”. Since 1986, the AMAS platform (= Arbeitsgemeinschaft Mobile Animation Salzburg) has been organizing free games in the districts of the city. For the first time, the city presented its advantages as a potential employer. Appointed Mayor Bernard AungarVice Mayor Florian Creepich and Community Councilor Andrea Burner Went for a “Picnic in the Green” during the day and met many happy and satisfied faces.
Four free concerts thrilled “young” Salzburg
The cultural highlights of the season opener are four concerts: “Hammam”, “Nachtbalder”, “Lie's Apartment” and “Endless Wellness”. Despite the ideal atmosphere, the concerts ended promptly at 10 p.m.
“Live in Salzburg” – new summer project
With the summer cinema in Volksgarten and Lake Salzach and the new event series “Live in Salzburg”, Salzburg residents can look forward to a spring and summer full of surprises and artistic tastes. Those interested can already mark the weekends of August 30 and 31 and September 6 and 7. These days the Volksgarten is once again a lively music venue. Three stages and a large number of performers will enthrall the audience, and headlines “Steam satellites” in. They have not only made a name for themselves as impressive live acts through their tours in Europe and America.
