Austria Klagenfurt has another tough game. They will face league leaders Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday (6.30pm, live! on Kicker) as they did on Sunday. The Violets will be looking to avenge the 2:4 defeat in front of their visitors.

Bundesliga – Matchday 28

Midfielder Andy Irving explains that despite the defeat, they were very satisfied with Sunday's performance. “Club Page”: “It seems strange, but I see it this way: we played well, but unfortunately we had to pay for some bad moments and we paid a high price for that. Looking forward to Wednesday's game, we can take more positive things with us and show such a great performance again, this I hope that we will get the reward for it this time,” he said.

Bagult calls for determination

Instructor Peter Bagult's analysis was somewhat more critical. He demands more determination from his men: “We had to learn a lesson in Salzburg, because the opponent has this ability to get a ruthless advantage if you give them too much space. We need to defend better and be more determined in tackles. That is the prerequisite so we can boldly move forward.” Still, the 64-year-old is cautiously optimistic about Wednesday's game: “If everything fits together, it can make it difficult for Red Bull as well.”
