Engagements as a dancer have taken him to the Scala di Milano, the Pennsylvania Ballet, the Scottish Ballet, the London Festival Ballet and the ballet of the Bavarian State Opera. In 1998/99 he headed the dance department of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. After he had already emerged as a choreographer in Munich, he has created numerous ballets for companies around the world. The extraordinary and most valuable costumes come from Susanne Piszowski, whom ballet director Martin Schlaffer already wore in 2023 for his opera ball choreography “Wiener Blood” and his Strauss ballet “Marsh, Waltz, Polka”. “Seventh Himmel” is back on the schedule at the Vienna State Opera as part of the 2024 program, commissioned with costumes.
