Another serious accident at work at a construction site in Upper Austria: After a 54-year-old man from Kollerschlag fell to his death on Monday at a construction site in Kirchdorf an der Krems, an 18-year-old man injured himself on Tuesday. He was seriously injured during construction work in Linz.
He fell from the 3rd floor
The Luftenberg (Berg district) teenager was busy with electrical installations on a loggia in Lederergass when the accident occurred around 9:15 am. For reasons still unclear, the worker fell from the third floor along the wooden ladder he was standing on and hit his head on the concrete floor. The exact circumstances of the accident were not initially known.
Resuscitated by rescuers
Colleagues immediately informed rescuers. Muhlwierdler suffered serious injuries in the fall and had to be resuscitated at the scene by Red Cross paramedics, police said Tuesday evening. He was taken to the hospital with an emergency doctor.
The day before, a man from Mühlviertel – according to the report – fell nine meters on a construction site in Kirchdorf. Any help came too late for the 54-year-old;
