Three people were injured, some seriously, in an accident at Erzbergrodeo in Styria on Saturday night. Two motorcycles collided near the paddy field.
A serious accident took place on Saturday night at Ersbergroteo in Eisenzer, Upper Styria: two motorcyclists collided together near paddock 4. A 21-year-old Tyrolean and a couple from France were injured, some seriously. According to the Styria State Police, it is still unclear how exactly the accident happened.
Serious accident at the Erzbergrodeo site
The clash took place at the event venue around 11 pm. A 21-year-old youth from Swaz district rode a borrowed motorcycle towards the fan zone. At the same time, a 45-year-old couple from France came to meet him. Both the machines collided head on. The young Tyrolean was taken to the LKH University Hospital in Graz with serious head injuries. The two Frenchmen were taken to LKH Leoben for treatment.
