Games Festival Vienna 2024: Recurring in early summer

On June 15 and 16, 2024, the dice will roll again at Austria Center Vienna (ACV). The well-known Vienna Sports Festival is celebrating a big comeback after a one-year hiatus.

Spread over 2 levels, play to your heart's content at over 750 tables with around 3,500 seats. For starters, Austria's largest gaming library has around 2,000 board, card and dice games. Many live stations, competitions and programs ensure a comprehensive support program for young and old. At the same time, the A1 Austrian eSports festival takes place over one floor, giving visitors an insight into the world of digital gaming.

The heart of this year's Vienna Games Festival is once again Austria's largest arcade. Over 2,000 board, card and dice games, including new games and well-known classics, are available to visitors of all ages during their stay. From simple family games to complex connoisseur games, there is something for every taste. If you don't feel like reading long rule books, you can get “game explainers” to not only guide you through the basic rules of the games, but also answer questions about game mechanics.

Local clubs and sports designers

The local board and card game scene will also be represented on the site. Tournaments for Tabletop & TCG fans

As in the past, the Vienna Games Festival is once again a hotspot for competitions in popular tablet titles, e.g. E.g. Trading Card Games (TCG) such as Warhammer 40k and Magic The Gathering and Bandai's One Piece TCG. Prize pools of up to 1,000 euros and non-cash prizes are awarded in competitions.
